Other than the front derailleur (which is SRAM rival) and chainset I’ve upgraded everything to SRAM Force.

Cables are routed internally.

It is fitted with a compact chainset (so 50/ 34) and I have a 10 speed 11/ 27 cassette. I’ve found this spot on for tackling both steep Derbyshire climbs as well as the more steady but long Pyrenean and Alpine climbs. I’ve occasionally spun out sprinting, but I recon swapping to a 12 27 would help.

I’ve owned the bike from new so although it is in excellent condition there are some scuffs which are purely cosmetic. I’ve always looked after it and used it as a ‘best/ summer’ bike and it has always been kept inside. All cables, chain and cassette have been regularly replaced as I like to have my bikes in perfect working order.

If you are looking to upgrade an existing bike or buy your first road bike but don’t won’t to break the bank, this would be ideal. It’s been great and comfy for long rides (100 miles +). It’s also been great for crit and road racing.
