Club Hilly TT Sat 22nd February

Club version of the Hilly Time trial on the AH2 course starts at 2pm on Saturday 22nd February.


Course:
School Lane,Rowsley - A6 - Picory Corner ,left B5056 - Youlgreave - Long Rake - Monyash,B5055 - A515, Newhaven - A5012 - Holly Bush,left B5056 - Miners Standard - B5056 - 100yds.of short Hawleys Bridge.

Just how painful was it?

Not too bad good conditions for the time of year but the crosswind on the top road was evil - most riders couldn't stay on the tribars because of the gusts so I don't think it was a particularly fast day for the course

The conditions can't have been that bad, because by my reckoning Leigh took nearly 1 minute 12 seconds off the record that has stood for 12 years. Well done Leigh, an incredible ride.
