Grindleford Community Shop Bike Box

Post by Woolfie on Sun Jul 13, 2014 7:05 pm

I have been asked to spread the news about the following which is a great idea....

"The newly opened Grindleford Community Shop has a bike box for the use of any passing cyclists. In the event of mechanical issues out on the road, it can hopefully assist in getting you and your bike going again. Whilst not a "Park Tools Service Station", it consists of enough regular spares, tools and parts and any cyclist is welcome to use it.

Please spread the word among fellow cyclists.

"The Rules of use" are -
• Do not take the tools away or leave a mess
• Let us know if something in the box is broken or has run out
• Feel free to make a donation to the shop for any consumables used
• Enjoy your ride and talk kindly of our shop to others

The shop is located at St Helen's Church just over the bridge (Sheffield side) from the traffic lights.
Planned opening hours are 8.15 am to 7 pm every day Monday to Saturday, and 11.30 to 4 pm on Sundays. Note we are shut anytime the Church is in use."
