Sunday club runs

Message from the club committee regarding Sunday club runs - please read and reply!

Dear Club Member,

We need your help. As a committee we feel that it would be a good thing for the social cohesion of the club to instigate a Sunday Run’s list. The idea is that this will provide a destination point for riders to include in their own ride. This could be a group of competitive cyclists out for 50 miles plus, a short family ride, an individual on a specific training ride, somebody that has only parked 5 miles down the road, or somebody that hasn’t cycled at all. The aim is to provide an opportunity for club members to cycle and socialise, and to be inclusive of all cycling interests, be it those that prefer Mtb, Audax events, Time trials, Road Racing, or just the enjoyment of cycling. You never know you might even cycle back with somebody new!
To help put the Run’s list together we would like you to propose your three favourite café/lunch stops as well as a preferred time from a choice of 11, 12, 1 and 2 o’clock.
Please help us with your suggestions, as the greater the number the better the outcome will reflect what the members want. Send your replies to the email address below and please have them all returned by 30th September.
As an example my votes go for The Old Smithy (Monyash), The Tea Junction (Hulme End), and Longnor Craft Centre & Coffee Shop.

Yours sincerely,

Andrew Briggs
