Thieving scumbags! Keep a look out on E-bay, sometimes they turn up on there.

Just a reminder to watch your privacy settings on any GPS tracking programmes you use such as Strava and keep an eye out for vehicles following you home - used to happen with motorcycle thieves but apparently now happening to cyclists too!

Heard a bit more about another stolen locally in Darley - the Police said the rider was followed home after a local ride out. However it may be that the Police have found the villains to this and the Brassington burglary. In the meantime the message is to look after your pride and joy as best you can!

thanks for the update Andy...I've stuck a privacy radius on my strava now although it means I lose the KOM up the hill to my house :-( better than losing my bikes I suppose!

Just a thought, but simply setting your own postcode may not offer much in the way of security if you live in an area of relatively low housing density. I've put in four different post codes for roads nearby and as a result have essentially covered the whole of the village. Losing segments isn't an issue as there are none nearby and I'd never feature on the leader board anyway! Very Happy
