National Hill Climb 1986 Empty National Hill Climb 1986

Interesting article on the 1986 National Hill Climb held up Riber Hill, promoted by Matlock Cycling Club . This is when the finish was at the castle and included a downhill section.
I had just moved to the area and remember walking across to Starkholmes with my parents to spectate. Phil Liggett was commentating and MCC had no fewer than 4 riders on the result board....including a certain Rob Gould!
