Dark & White Events
Winter MBO/Trailquest Series
Round 6 - Sunday March 8th 2015 - Castleton/High Peak

Double scores/points up for grabs....

The final round of the series is a week away and as promised we’re offering double points both on the day and in the league so effectively there’s still all to play for (or ride for...) in the league. If you haven’t seen it then here’s the latest league table produced after the last round from Darley Dale and it’s all pretty close across the board. Just to mention that the double score idea is a trial this year so we’ll see how things go and please let us know what you think about it (good, bad, indifferent etc etc).

Spring MTB Marathon – Sunday 12th April

Spring is almost here which means blue skies, longer days and dry tracks which in turn leaves you absolutely no excuse for not getting out on your bike! To kick start the year ‘proper’ therefore in conjunction with the Peak National Park we are organising an mtb marathon starting/finishing from Hope with route/loop choices of 70km (1600m climb) and 39km (750m climb). We’ve tried to pack in as much off-road into each loop as possible as well as provide some challenging climbs and epic descents – the route will be part signed (in tricky places) and there will be a feed station en-route to keep you going. Stunning Peak District views are inevitable. 25% of the net event proceeds will go to the Peak Park to help with protecting and preserving our amazing playground!

For all the event information including the routes/route profiles, timings and online entries etc etc log onto our new D&W website (which is currently under construction) and follow the prompts www.darkwhitecycling.co.uk/springmtbmarathon
