East Midlands Inter-Regional MTB team selection criteria.

Inter-Regional MTB Championships 2015
Hadleigh Farm

18th, 19th, 20th September

4 male and 4 female Riders Youth A and Youth B eligibility.
[There will be a nominated reserve rider]


Selection Criteria;

Any riders interested will be expected to submit an expression of interest to the team manager Emma Martin on emmaandtim4@gmail.com by the end of April 2015.

The selected riders will be notified by e-mail, the final selection will be made after analysing the results, from the events forming part of the selection criteria.

The selection of riders will also be based on:

1 Attendance at selection races and results. Best 4 from 7 to count - races are: All 5 NPS rounds, National MTB championships, Midlands round Chesterfield 28th June.

If riders do not attend the East Midlands cluster coaching the Midlands round is essential to allow riders skills to be considered.

2 Physical, technical and tactical capability.

3 Coachability

4 The ability to work within a team environment, being self-sufficient and able to support others within that team environment.

6 To agree with and sign the riders code of conduct

7 Availability for the event

8 Professional on and off the bike conduct

9 Desire/ passion for MTB
